Ayman Abdalla goes by the stage-name “VYMVN”—pronounced “ayy-men.” He is a Toronto-based electronic dance musician (EDM). He’s garnered the attention of industry titans such as Don Diablo, Fedde Le Grane and Habstrakt. His music is high-energy and bold but, his brand needed some tuning.

The final logo was constructed using 4 shapes. Each letter of the logo was built individually then kerned together to create the full wordmark. A symbol can be derived from the wordmark as a stand-alone logo.

When I asked about his story, VYMVN continuously used the word “journey” so, we went with the metaphor of undergoing a journey on a road or pathway.
